Thank you Maureen, by ‘art from art’ i simply meant that this is art inspired by art…often one medium inspires another for me- almost a synaesthetic response- sometimes words make pictures and pictures make words, or music makes pictures…in this case, I found this beautiful sentence in a poetry book that described a butterfly, falling and it resonated enough for me to paint what i got from it. art, from art!
