Prayer #630

Beloved,

I’m singing an unbroken song to God, and I suspect I have been for eons.
Sometimes I sing solo, but rarely- the whales and the mountains, the streets and their people, we are singing.

There’s a beautiful thing that’s been happening recently…I meet with friends and when they leave, poems come from the words we spoke, the love that flowed.

It’s a stunning thing, having a friend. Really.
Here’s from today’s encounter…

May you make friends who stir your heart into poems
and share the love you are with us all.

I posted a few photos of the land this one is inspired by- the golden slopes of California- for that you’ll have to instagrammaaa

This winter, we will write together over many months in Mirrorings- a writing studio that I secretly call Writes of Passage– hehe

If something in you wants to speak, come pour love into honing and finding and expanding your voice, go take a preview peek…I haven’t done the page up for this year, but I will!

in devotion,
Ishita

Prayer #630

I met a friend after many moons today.

“So, who are you today?” he asked.
Eyes like sapphires, gleaming.

“Today, I am
song and sound”
I said.

“A prayer
on the lips of
Mother Divine.

The heart of Devotion
reveling in the
folds of this land
as
whispers of hope
on misty walks
through thick
Eucalyptus forests.

Listen…

you will hear me,
singing as the Sun
crying as the wind
laughing as the flowers wild

from
The Mother’s womb

and
softly,
in the quiet,
ever so softly,

kissing the hands
of all those who walk
through
Holy Darkness
through
Holy Light–

my feet
keeping theirs
company.

It’s always perfect to see you,” I said.

Singing,
Jai Ma | Jai Ma ||
Jai Ma | Jai Ma ||

Landing, just landing in California. I can see why so many write songs to you.
Thank you for receiving me with open hearts and arms.

I love you so.
