Honeysuckling

There’s a honeysuckle hedge in my backyard and I can hardly believe my good fortune!
My friend Cat once showed me how to sip its nectar and said it’s her favorite smell.

When it blossoms I make honeysuckle water. My love of it has the neighborhood kids making some too.

One day, there’ll be honeysuckle ice cream too!

Isn’t it just gorrgeous?
I love all flowers, it’s true, but I have a special spot for plants that have different colored flowers on the same bush.
I appreciate the surprise factor…and it makes a beautiful ombre!
